In some places, it was found that the PEO of District Education Officer was redundant and some places required PEOs. After this, 47 PEO posts were eliminated and replaced by PEOs in new places. EOs have been appointed. The order for this has been issued by the Director of Elementary Education. Also, six PEOs have been appointed separately to look after Urdu schools.
