Sethurama Verma, Director, Department of State Examinations, has sent a circular to the Primary Education Officers regarding the safe keeping of Class X, Plus 1 and Plus 2 general examination question papers.
For the room where the question paper is placed, there should be only one way. The bundles containing the question papers should be unlocked and the external information should be looked at and locked securely. For that room, two officers should be appointed. The question paper room should be sealed with lacquer.
The 'seal' should be broken in the presence of the two officers and the question paper should be sent to the examination center. A 24-hour armed police security facility and a 24-hour surveillance camera facility should be set up to prevent the question papers from becoming 'league'.
