Extension of opportunity for National Writer's Award
The Department of School Education has announced that teachers who are eligible for the National Best Author Award can apply until the 30th. Teachers' Day is celebrated across the country on Sept. 5, the birthday of the late former president Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. In turn, the National Author Award is presented on behalf of the Central Government.
A letter has been received from the Central Department of Education to the Tamil Nadu School Education Department to send applications for this year's award. Retired teachers and teachers doing administrative work in offices should not apply for this award.
