The Department of Examinations has issued guidelines to those involved in the public examination process that CCTV camera fittings should be installed and monitored in the question paper control centers for Class 10,11,12 general examinations. It said that CCTV cameras should be installed in the question paper control centers, the guard should be on duty and the room containing the question paper packs should be locked with double lock. Selection officers should not be appointed outside the rules. The headmasters of the respective schools should not be appointed as the primary supervisors for the public examination centers.
Various restrictions have been issued stating that teachers who are appointed as Examination Room Supervisors should not be the teachers for the examination film of the day, only government school teachers should be involved in the examination process and teachers of government aided schools can be appointed only if required.
The question papers for the diversion exams have already been released before the exam. The first general election is set to begin on May 5. In this situation a 115 page manual has been sent to all the districts.

வினாத்தாள் கட்டுக்காப்பு மையங்களில் சிசிடிவி கேமரா பொறுத்தப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும், காவலர் பணியில் இருக்க வேண்டும், இரட்டை பூட்டு கொண்டு வினாத்தாள் கட்டுகள் இருக்கும் அறை பூட்டப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும் என்று அதில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. விதிகளுக்கு புறம்பாக தேர்வுத்துறை அதிகாரிகளை நியமிக்க கூடாது. பொது தேர்வு மையங்களுக்கு அந்தந்த பள்ளிகளின் தலைமை ஆசிரியர்களை முதன்மை கண்காணிப்பாளராக நியமனம் செய்ய கூடாது. தேர்வு அறை கண்காணிப்பாளராக நியமிக்கப்படும் ஆசிரியர்கள் அன்றைய தேர்வு படத்திற்கான ஆசிரியராக இருக்க கூடாது, அரசு பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்களையே தேர்வு பணியில் ஈடுபடுத்த வேண்டும், தேவைப்படும் பட்சத்தில் மட்டுமே அரசு உதவிபெறும் பள்ளிகளின் ஆசிரியர்களை நியமிக்கலாம் என பல்வேறு கட்டுப்பாடுகள் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
