Permission has been granted to extend the work by three years to 900 senior teacher posts in government schools.
In the last, 100 high schools upgraded in 2013-14, 900 post masters posts have been temporarily sanctioned for Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Economics and Commerce.
Permission for these positions expired in June last year. In this context, the Principal Secretary for School Education, Gokarla Usha, has ordered a series of extensions until June 2024. அரசு பள்ளிகளில் பணியாற்றும் 900 முதுநிலை ஆசிரியர் பணியிடங்களுக்கு, மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பணி நீட்டிக்க அனுமதி வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
கடந்த, 2013- 14ம் ஆண்டில் தரம் உயர்த்தப்பட்ட, 100 மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளிகளில், தமிழ், ஆங்கிலம், கணிதம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், உயிரியல், வரலாறு, பொருளியல் மற்றும் வணிகவியல் ஆகிய பாடங்களுக்கு, 900 முதுநிலை ஆசிரியர்கள் பணியிடங்கள் தற்காலிகமாக அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டன.
இந்த பணியிடங்களுக்கு கடந்த ஆண்டு ஜூனில் அனுமதி முடிந்து விட்டது. இந்நிலையில், வரும் 2024 ஜூன் வரை தொடர் நீட்டிப்பு வழங்கி, பள்ளிக்கல்வி முதன்மை செயலர் காகர்லா உஷா உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.
