Kombaipatti Government High School students won the first prize in the Union level essay competition. The competition was held on behalf of the Integrated School Education Intermediate Division on Environmental Activities.

கோம்பைப்பட்டி அரசு மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி மாண வர்கள் ஒன்றிய அளவி லான கட்டுரைப் போட்டி யில் முதல் பரிசு பெற்றனர். ஒருங்கிணைந்த பள்ளிக் கல்வி இடைநில ைபிரிவு சார்பில் சுற்றுச்சூழல் செயல்பாடுகள் குறித்து இந்த போட்டி நடந்தது.
இதனால் இப்பள்ளிக்கு ரூ.1.5 லட்சம் மதிப்பி லான டிஜிட்டல் போர்டு மற்றும் ஒரு ஆண்டுக்கான ரூ.10 ஆயிரம் மதிப்பில் இன்டர்நெட் வசதியும் பரிசாக கிடைத்தது.தலைைம ஆசிரியர் பாண் டியராஜன் கூறியதாவது: இந்த வசதி தனியார் பள் ளிகளில் உள்ள ஸ்மார்ட் வகுப்புகள் போன்று சர்வர் வசதியுடன் இயங் குவது அல்ல. இன்டர் நெட் வசதியுடன் தனித்து இயங்க கூடியது. ஒவ் வொருஆசிரியரும் அவரவர் பாடங்களை அவர்களே 'டவுன்லோட்' செய்து இதில் சேமித்து வைத்து கற்பிக்கின்றனர்.
இந்த டிஜிட்டல் பல கையில் கையால் எழுதி அழிக்க முடியும் என்ப தால் பயன்படுத்துவது எளிது. இதனால் மாண வர்களின் புரிதல் தன்மை அதிகரித்துள்ளது. மாண வர்களின் வகுப்பறை ஆர் வமும் அதிகரித்துள்ளது, என்றார்.
